Hi everyone, Our Youth Retreat is just around the corner—August 14–15—and we’re getting excited about what the Lord is going to do in the hearts of our teens! As we finalize preparations, there are several areas where we could use some help, and I wanted to send this list out ahead of time so you can be thinking and praying about how you might be involved. Here are some of the ways you can help: Kitchen Help We’ll be serving pizza on Thursday night, but we could really use some extra hands in the kitchen for breakfast on Friday morning and barbecuing lunch on Friday afternoon. General Cleanup Help with cleaning and tidying up around the church throughout the retreat would be greatly appreciated. Drivers Needed We’re looking for a number of drivers to help transport teens to the beach on Thursday night and to the ball field on Friday afternoon. Bonfire Supplies If you’re able to help bring wood, kindling, or other supplies for the bonfire on Thursday night at the beach, please let me know! Game Volunteers We’ll need a few people to help run or assist with games at the field on Friday afternoon. Snacks If you enjoy baking (or shopping!), we could use some cookies or treats for snacks throughout the day on Friday and Saturday. If there’s anything else you think of that could be a help, feel free to let me know. We’ll also have a quick meeting this Sunday after the morning service to go over the final details and sign up for specific roles.
